Somewhere out there is a great and terrible empire, so far away as to be from another world, but that is not what this story is about. This is the story of the people outside. The people who have found themselves for one reason or another shunned, ostracized, or escaping the clutches of this faraway empire. A group of people gather in the shadow of greatness and carve out a world for themselves.

Heat Without Light is a five-book fantasy epic with humble beginnings and grand operatic endings, taking place in a world of anthropomorphic animals and spirits both malevolent and benign. It promises action, romance, sweetness, and darkness in equal measure.

The story is split into five parts, listed below:

Book 1 - A Lion Among Mice

In a sleepy farm community, sudden disappearances prompt the arrival of a monster hunter from the north, and June, a lion living among the mice, is instantly infatuated with this handsome, cold-blooded tiger. He is pulled into a dangerous confrontation, and must make a choice between his adopted community, or the big wide world.

Book 2 - Plenty Hollow - Releasing March 7th

The Mask Carver of King's Head has a big problem. This problem is seven feet tall, has shocking white fur, a blonde mane, huge muscles, and a long, twisting horn on top of his equine head. With the Mask Carver's true name on his lips, this unicorn has one thing on his mind; Marriage!

Book 3 - Vanquisher of Death - Coming Soon

On their way back home in triumph, June and his friends are met by the Imperial Princess Legato Melody, who has a simple request: meet The Emperor, so he can give his personal thanks to the hunters for all the good they have done around the continent.
